Here, you willl be able to learn whatqualifies me for the position. First and foremost, I hope that you find myexperience both as prosecutor, and a defense attorney proved to be a healthytraining for me in 1987 when I first took the bench . Since that time, myexperience has grown by the decade as I have served Franklin Countyresidents as a judge and presided over hundreds of criminal and civiltrials.Just as important as my qualifications is my comittment to abide by anduphold the Code of Judicial Conduct. It is my utmost responsibility tojudge impartially and I assure you that while I enjoy my job very much, Itake the responsibility seriously. Every day, when I arrive at thecourthouse, I am faced with difficult decisions that impact individuals, their families and the community. Likewise, when Ipreside over a trial that involves serious injuries, or death, malpractice,or property disputes, I recognize that one party may walk away enriched atthe expense of the party. In all of the cases, my job is to reiew all ofthe facts, the evidence, consider what the law requires, and apply it thecase in a fair and judicious manner. I will not pre-judge a case. Ipledge to you that I will examine each case on a case by case basis andfollow the laws of the State of Ohio.Based on my experience and my committment to fair and impartial judicialsystem, I am running to retain my seat on the Common Pleas Court.
